Wanted to give some feedback on the lesson that I took with Mike on May 17, 09. It was my first time getting up on a wakeboard (I’m a novice waterskiier) and I got up on the first try.
By the end of the hour lesson, I was getting up with ease, making some basic jumps and flipping direction on the board. I don’t want to jinx my next ride…but I didn’t fall once. I’m an intermediate snowboarder - and I think this helped, as riding the wakeboard felt very similar - except that it was SO NICE landing jumps on soft water rather than hard east coast ice!
Mike’s instruction was great and he’s got a sweet boat. I plan to bring my kids for lessons soon.
